Summary:
This has been a very interesting project in terms of production line versatility. We were able to design a factory with production capacity for both aluminium and PVC, with dedicated lines for each material, but with the possibility of connecting them to route production—using either material—through any of the available production lines.
This project has been a challenge in terms of factory design and functionality,
but also in terms of control, through the implementation of production control software. Ultimately, the main objective was to achieve a “production ecosystem” that could be managed by the software, from enclosure design through to the workstations at the end of the line.
FELMAN’s project includes a total of 5 manufacturing lines: two for the production of special enclosures, two dedicated to the manufacture of casement and sliding windows, and a final line designed to provide additional capacity for casement window production.
